Get Your Car Ready for Winter Road Conditions

Focus On Important Safety Features Now

Good tires are a critical for your car to handle all types of driving conditions. Your car's ride, handling, traction and safety depend on them. To get the most life out of your tires, check the inflation pressure and inspect tread depth and sidewalls for punctures or cracks. As a rule, balance and rotate your tires every 6,000 miles.

Your car's most important safety system is its brake system. Brakes wear out on every car. At each oil change, check brake linings, brake fluid, and drums and rotors.

To maximize performance and safety of wipers, replace your blades every six months or when cracked, cut, torn, streaking or chattering. Check your windshield washer fluid monthly, and be sure only windshield washer fluid is used.
